Located 10 minutes' drive from Oudtshoorn, AfriCamps Klein Karoo is a set on a working ostrich farm. Peaceful, well appointed, stunning location and views. So much wild life. Great swimming pool. Simply LOVELY staff (shout out to Allice, Alfred and JJ). Brilliant early morning Meerkat safari. We had a blast. Highly recommend Africamps Kelin Karoo.

Situated on top of a hill looking over the Outeniqua and the Swartberg mountains, Le Petit Karoo Ranch offers luxury tents and rooms in a tranquil setting. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The location is stunning, totally worth a visit! The property was very recently purchased by new owners who are quite obviously putting in the effort to make the property even better. It’s got great bones and I’m sure when their vision comes to life it will be truly amazing. They were very kind and offered us great service, including a very tasty breakfast. Our room was comfortable and thankfully had heating for the very cold night. I would definitely recommend!

Set 16 km from Oudtshoorn, Berluda offers charming accommodation in country-style cottages located in the scenic Schoemanshoek Valley, 15 km from the Cango Caves. It features 2 swimming pools. Perfect. Lovely cottage with everything one needs, excellent food, very friendly staff, meerkat tour was so good, thank you. Marvelous place. Will come again.

From the moment we arrived, Richard went above and beyond to make our visit truly special. He was incredibly communicative leading up to our stay and took extra care to arrange thoughtful gifts for a special birthday celebration, which was such a delightful surprise. The lodge itself was charming, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. Every detail of our stay exceeded our expectations, and it’s clear that Richard genuinely cares about his guests’ experience. We couldn’t recommend Duckpond Lodge more and will definitely be returning!

He also gave us some of his famous “skilpaadjies” which were delicious. Would highly recommend anyone who wants to take a break to stay over at Goedgeloof Farm Stay. Beautiful house / scenery and warm welcome from host.
