Tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds. The host Claire was very helpful and provided us with information on Bowness. It was a short walk to the town. Where there are plenty of eateries. I would recommend the Lake Raj . The staff were extremely nice and the food tasty. I would definitely go the Cottage again.

Came to Windermere for one night for the start of a roadtrip with my partner. This accommodation made our time there really special. Lovely and clean home, with a modern interior impressed us when we walked in. Having the hot tub there was amazing really completed a perfect stay. Bed was super comfortable, I really have nothing bad to say about this stay. Loved every second of it, location was great aswell. Hosts were very easy to contact and were very polite. Would recommend this to anyone staying in Windermere!

Everything about the place was beautiful. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. The place had all the amenities and was super clean. All the things were very well maintained. The location was in walkable distance to the center as well.

Lovely cottage with everything you could need, owners were so welcoming and accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer, would highly recommend.

Ees Wyke Country House is an elegant Georgian property in the Lake District, less than 3 miles from the town of Hawkshead. We were immediately welcomed and given a tour of the beautiful building, including the garden and the two lounges. Everywhere was kept toasty thanks to the fire places, and there were lots of books and board games available to pass the time. Our room was spacious, clean and kept supplied with lush hot chocolate, tea, etc. We had a fantastic view of the lake too. The staff were absolutely wonderful and couldn't be more helpful. Had a lovely chat with Ed one day, then Angela the next! The food was fantastic, I would highly recommend grabbing at least one dinner there, and definitely go down for breakfast every day. Wonderful selection, and exceedingly tasty. Incredibly cooked by the owner and solo chef, Richard!

This 150-year-old country house guest accommodation is in quiet gardens, 700 metres from Windermere town centre. It has free Wi-Fi, free parking and a lounge/bar. The property is as immaculate in real life as the advertising suggests. The owners have exceptional attention to detail and show their long industry experience in every aspect. The breakfast is first class and served promptly. The chef is excellent. I certainly recommend the Afternoon Tea, which was the best I have received, and that includes The Ritz. The owners have a wealth of local knowledge. Make sure you listen to their restaurant recommendations.
