I was too dumb to know I should bring my own toothpaste and toothbrush, it was late in the town to shop, and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to brush my teeth on my first day in Australia, but Sue just provided her own new toothbrush and toothpaste and told me local customs. New ZealandGreat O'night stay at Eastern Reef Cottages - great location quiet with lovely gardens and great cosy cottage. Everything very clean and tidy. This location is just 6kms from 12 Apostles so an ideal base if you are exploring the area.
Communication top notch and reception was open to greet us. A little treat of an upgrade was offered which we were delighted to accept. We loved the flowers trees and the bird life round the cottage.
We would recommend for anyone to stop by and stay - a short walk / drive to eateries in town which is doing a huge renovation but we found our way around no problem.
We would certainly stay here again.

Great location with loads of character.
Great location with loads of character. Fabulous view from the balcony off the lounge room of the ocean. Kathy recommended bringing food as there is no local restaurants. Utilised the BBQ, no need to leave the view. Great value with clean facilities, highly recommend.

Excellent access via a car park on northern side of GOR then...
Excellent access via a car park on northern side of GOR then a pedestrian tunnel to cross safely without interacting with traffic. Toilets and shop situated at car park. Coffee is average and souvenir prices exhirbitant but otherwise a great set up.

Fantastic location for the 12 Apostles.
Lots of Galah (?) birds to watch.
Our host warned us of bad weather the day we travelled - very considate.

The location was on the same road as the entry to car park for the 12 Apostles. It’s about 3ks of along a dirt road.
The shower was good and liked that there was a plastic basin in the cupboard to wash any dishes.

Very convenient location to see the 12 apostles. But if you drive and follow GPS instructions, make sure you don’t take the route through the Campbell National Park unless you have a 4WD. Best to take Great Ocean Road and then turn off on Booringa

the space is amazing, so pretty, like a family farm. they have this huge friendly dog that is around and they let you play with him!
staff were so fast on accepting our request for a sign for me and my partner, we were celebrating an anniversary. they gave us a beautiful card with our names and even a wine. i was really happy with it and so seemed the staff!
shower was hot and room spacious. such a good location and close to port campbell, so you can go there after visiting the 12 apostles, buy some food and come to the hotel.
