Stayed here twice in the last month and loved it! Super convenient location above Wynyard station. Understated but sophisticated design throughout. Rooms are compact but have everything you need. It’s super clean, sleek, and modern. Staff are very friendly and personable, thank you. Absolute highlight is the private access rooftop for hotel guests.

Amazing and extraordinary experience for staying inside this gorgeous zoo. We were lucky to meet koalas in front of our veranda. Room fee is expensive but totally worth it.

Sydney Opera House

You know a building’s got star quality when it appears in the logo of an organisation like UNESCO. The Temple of Concordia’s six-columned façade is the epitome of ancient Greek architecture, and it’s remarkably well preserved. Credit for its longevity has to go to Sicily’s 6th-century Christians, who spotted the temple’s special vibe and converted it into a church.

Take the ferries that go past the Opera House and the Sydney Harbor Bridge, especially at night. They're spectacular lit up. See a show inside the Opera House. The cabaret show in the small theater is a hoot. Just be aware it's rated R, in American parlance.

It’s a really good idea to take a guided tour of the opera house. The tour I was on was interesting and informative and a highlight was the fact our group was able to sneak into two auditoriums and view rehearsals.

What a fantastic, iconic structure.

What a fantastic, iconic structure. Did a tour which was very informative and took us all over the building. Despite all the controversy in its build, we are so fortunate to have such a wonderful piece of architecture in our country. It certainly makes the harbour! Also treated ourselves to dinner at Bennelong restaurant. The service and food were both exceptional and would definitely recommend if you can score a booking.

I am not a building tour person and I LOVED the tour of the Sydney Opera House (They offer plays, concerts, etc. and told us they named it the Sydney Opera House because Sydney Community Center did not sound as good! So they have a sense of humor!) They showed us how the lights and sound system acooustics complement each other. The designers were SMART and CLEVER to deliver beauty and function together. This was great and I highly recommend!

Book a small group tour of the Sydney Opera.

Book a small group tour of the Sydney Opera. You will love it!! Even better if you can follow it up with an evening performance. TIP: ask for a standing place which is completely fine and you will get fantastic view.

The views from the room of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge were stunning. The buffet breakfast was delicious and very complete, and the location close to the train station is excellent. The area is quiet and peaceful.

The location and facilities. The location is right next to St James station, walkable to Chinatown and 1 train station to the rock to have a view of the Sydney opera house. The pool, the gym, the steam room and sauna are conveniently located at level 22 with a million dollar view of Sydney city.

The motel was pretty cheap, and close to the attractions my granddaughter and I were doing, and because we were only going to be in the room for a short period I wasn't concerned that it was a little run down and older. It wasn't far for us to stroll to The Sydney Opera House (est 40min) recommend the walk! With some great views and buildings on the way. We had a late check in around 23.30 and the staff came promptly to book us in.

Great location Very nice room with a nice view of the Sydney Opera House (shame the windows were a bit dirty) Nice bathroom Good facilities in room - coffee machine, kettle, mini bar etc Compared to other 4 and 5 star hotels the per night rate was good value for money.
