Located in the lovely area & easy to access to the touristic points, as well as the supermarket. The whole idea of rennovating the old wardners' house into the hotel is a very good chance to acknowledge the city's history. Their complemntary services were also nice... welcome drink at the Gimlet bar, wine & beer at the fridge... if you love drinking definitely here's the place.

This hotel is really a gem. Tucked in a quiet side alley, you are close to the main street but enjoy silence. The rooms are very comfortable and stylish. The staff is exceptionally friendly. We came 30 min late for breakfast and were still served. When we had to leave at 5am we got granola and berries the night before. Highly recommended

This was on our list to see as we had read the story of the"Batavia."It was incredible to see the objects that survived. Other shipwrecks were not so well known and it was fascinating to read their story.
