Had an amazing stay at Bonjour in Guilin! The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful, making us feel so welcome. Our room was comfortable and beautifully designed with a modern touch. The bath overlooking the mountains was a highlight, as was the rooftop with stunning views – perfect for relaxing and taking in the scenery. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Guilin!

The staff was so friendly and hospitable, he even invited us for a BBQ with his friends and we had such a wonderful evening! He also brought our suitcases upstairs to our room and cut some watermelon for us, when we arrived. The room was very cosy and clean and had all the facilties you need. It’s located in a very beautiful neighbourhood, which is very calm and cosy at night! We had a lovely view of the mountains from our window. You can ask him anything you need and he arrange it for you, like a beautiful private tour with a English speaking driver to the Longji Rice Terraces, fixing the tandem bike to a perfect hight, so we could cycle in the city, and a taxi to our train. Even though he could speak English very well, we could communicate very well via translate!

My first day in Guilin was at Serene Vale Inn Gui Lin. My impression of Guilin was good since the view from the room was beautiful. The Hill can be seen through the window of our bedroom and I thought this hotel's name Serene Vale suits the property and it is calm and peaceful. The bedroom is decorated is a traditional Chinese style including accessories such as a tea table with a Chinese tea set. Breakfast was simple but good. They even supplied our breakfast to take away for the Li River Cruise since we had to leave early at 6 a.m. The staff provided us late late-night food service, to buy the noodle soup dinner when we needed it at late night by the night duty staff since it was winter and their kitchen had closed. Our first night experience and I could tell it was also my husband, 's birthday. We did not want to go out, it was very cold ;
