Great location, good breakfast, but personal was who make this hotel so special. When I was searching for accommodation in Santander, I was like - what's all this hype about this hotel. And all that hype is full deserved ❤

This beautiful hotel definitely deserves to be a 4* as oppose to the 3* that it is. Arrived at Hotel Puerta Santander around 9.30am last Friday morning and was checked into our room as soon as we arrived which was an added bonus considering most check-in's aren't till about 2pm onwards. The rooms were very spacious, very comfy beds and a really nice bathroom with a great shower! To top it off there was a mini fridge in the room which was very handy, and the hotel rooms are actually soundproofed so sleeping wasn't an issue! From Management (Paloma) to the girls on the front desk (Michelle & Nina) and the cleaners (Adnee) they were all extremely helpful for anything we requested and enquired about. We had a wonderful stay in Santander & would highly recommend staying at the beautiful Hotel Puerta Santander. You will be looked after like a King & Queen 🩷

The hotel is 25 min walking from the city centre, the rooms are modern and nice. There is 24 h bar and they make a very good coffee in the morning, we didn't try the breakfast. The receptionist speaks good English. There is a bus and train station near by if you don't want to walk to the centre.

Hotel Picos de Europa is set in the heart of Santander, just 600 metres from Santander Train Station. This small hotel offers comfortable rooms with free internet access.

The location is excellent. It’s located on a long walkable area with plenty of bars, restaurants, and shopping. It’s very convenient. We also went to the hotel restaurant on several occasions, and the food was excellent.

Hotel San Glorio is situated next to Santander Railway Station and close to the city’s ferry terminal. It features a restaurant, rooms with flat-screen TV’s and free Wi-Fi access throughout.

Fantastic location. The sister hotel across the road served fabulous food at very reasonable prices. The reception staff at San Glorio were very very kind and attentive. Value for money, excelled all expectations. Will definitely be using them again when travelling back to the UK on the ferry. Also to add the off site but just 20m away parking facilities gave me extra peace of mind for just 13€/24 hours. Enabling me to leave my car and go out and explore a bit prior to going for the ferry.
