Hotels near Clapham Common, London

The friendly welcome and excellent breakfast. Very convenient for transport into town ( East Putney tube and Putnam main line station). Good shopping in the High street about 10 minutes stroll away. A Sainsbury’s is close by as are a few places to eat. The hotel itself has a bistro style restaurant ( closed Sunday evening).

Enough space and clean. Nice food and staff. Everything was perfect. I would like to visit again.

This was one of the most beautiful Hotels I've ever stayed at (especially given the price). It has a lovely cosy feel and was so immaculately put together. The room had a comfortable bed and pillow, toiletries, several fresh towels, and a great snack basket. Moreover, there was also a coffee machine, a kettle, and an *allergen-free* complimentary snack. Second, the staff were so kind and wonderful. Graham and Shannon were simply fabulous. I accidentally forgot to print a set of documents that were critical for work, and Shannon immediately came to my rescue. Though Spread Eagle isn't exactly at the heart of the city, it has a strong public transportation network, making everything accessible. There are supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and other establishments conveniently located. There is also a lovely park nearby. For those with visa appointments at the VFS office @ Wadsworth, this is perfect. The office is only a short 2-minute walk from the Hotel. I loved my stay here, and I definitely look forward to returning to Spread Eagle. This was money well-spent :)

Would recommend 100%. The staff is amazing, incredibly sweet, attentive, helpful, and the location in Sloane Square couldn't be better. The neighborhood is safe with plenty to do, the on-site restaurant is fantastic, and the hotel's interior design is very chic, complete with high-tech room details and unique snack additions. The Highly recommend for a luxurious and convenient London stay.
