I spent 4 hours on the WW1 and WW2 floors, then went back and spent 2.5 hours on the Holocaust exhibit which was the most remarkable act of curating/story telling I've ever encountered. It balances the chronography with the background details and the scope zooms in and out to emphasize Stalin was wrong: a million deaths is not just a statistic. I've studied it in depth and still learned so much. I wish I'd had time for the rest!

Extremely interesting place.

Extremely interesting place. You could spend all day in there as there is so much to see and interact with. There is a cafe which is very welcome and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and informative. The exhibits are fantastic and I although I didn't think I would be that interested I was very much mistaken. There really was something for everyone and a truly well thought out venue.

Spent a very interesting several hours there.

Spent a very interesting several hours there. The WWI exhibition is particularly good, I think -- or rather, it was good to see it from a UK point of view rather than Australian. Same goes for WWII -- there's more from the European point of view than I'm used to. Free, and you don't need to book. Leave time for the excellent bookshop, and buy a light lunch in the cafe.
