A quaint boutique hotel in the heart of Mestia. The staff were so friendly and it felt like we were staying jn a family home. They allowed us to even use their kitchen to cook and even made us a special breakfast. The rooftop offered fantastic views of the mountains and ask for the room facing the back - you will be awarded with beautiful views of the watchtowers with the mountains.

We really enjoyed staying at this place. Is just a few meters from Mestia commercial centre, very confortable and cosy mountain hotel made of wood. Easy to park and quiet place. The breakfast is great! Lots of different goods and local specialities. They offer omolets on demand and are available for special requests. Giorgi, the hotel manager, is a great guy. Took care of our tour to Ushgulli, gave us all recomendations and provide us a lunch box for breakfast on the last day (considering that we checked-out at 06.00).

Good architecture of museum itself.

Good architecture of museum itself. Absolutely stunning display of old religious texts and icons. But, sadly, exhibition is not so huge. Also, traditional Svan house items, weapons and armor are displayed here, but to see how people used to live in traditional Svanetian households - you should visit house-museums, such as Margiani.
