It is in a great location, literally a minute away from the metro and right next to Minastraki square. I can not say enough about the staff, they are so helpful, such lovely people. They do their best to make your stay comfortable. They have an open buffet breakfast with a big variety of choices, it is kind of impossible not be content. The room we stayed was a good size. Bed is quite comfortable. The rooms are cleaned regularly. Whenever we go back to Athens our choice will be360 Degrees Pop Art Hotel again.

Great location, clean and silent room, smiling employees, dinner with a perfect view. Everything was perfect but i wanna give a special thanks to one person. There was an employee at the restaurant. He helped me a lot. He recomended me to the most delicious dessert, he took my pictures since i was alone. Whenever i just looked at him he directly came to me, i didn’t need to call him. He was so kind and sweet. Even though i dont know his name, i want to thank him. Maybe he can see the comment about him🙏💙

Acropolis

Long before it became known as Bloomfield Falls, this magnificent waterfall was called Wujal Wujal by the indigenous Kuku Yalanji people. Hire a guide and learn why these people still consider Wujal Wujal to be sacred. Or just head down with your 4x4 and a picnic hamper, and have lunch in serious style!

A must to visit, it is climbable, I am 75 and with help from my daughter I made it to just before the top, I'm afraid of heights so didn't make the top with the crowds. Best time to go is 8am, our time was changed to 10am, due to a strike. If you are unable to climb the steps there is a cart that takes you to a lift which takes you to the top.

Go very early in the day, or very late, to avoid the huge crowds. Buy your timed tickets in advance, and they are separate from the museum. The museum is great, but there are several better collections in the center of Athens.

Nice to see but 30 euro is really too much for seing a few stones. Not much left of this area, like most temples of ancient Greece. We were a bit dissapointed. Greeks build an immage on the old history. A lot more labour of reconstruction could be done by escavating areas and putting the pieces together to look more like the original. Visitors should at least be permitted to walk inside the area of the temple.

Ancient wonder. It was a beautiful day when we visited the Acropolis. Majestic structure against blue skies. Tough parts of the monument is under renovation, the pathway for tourists was very well marked. People could walk around find the best photography angels and just soak in the history.

Athens is a wonderful city to visit & explore… however, beware of Rogue Taxi 🚖 drivers! If they don’t display their photo/licence walk away! Even if they put on the “meter” it’s best to ask for a price and not accept an astronomical cost on arrival !🥺 The fare from Airport to Athens is around 50€ NOT 120€ which we were charged by 1 bandit in August! We found a very honest & friendly Taxi driver who spoke English - works for a company called “Athens My Transfer” check it on-line.

Lovely apartment with fun decor. Very clean. Size was great for our needs (8 night stay). Excellent location with metro only 1 minute walk away and large supermarket (Lidl) only 5 minutes walk away. 3 train stops to Athens main shopping precinct. Not too far from the Acropolis by train either. Great communication with the host. Loved it!

Booked an Acropolis View room and the view is lovely. It's all about the view, both from the room and rooftop breakfast room. Probably the best view we got of the Acropolis while in Athens. Can also walk to the Acropolis entrance in a few minutes. Plaka, excellent tourist area a few minutes walk away. All in all an excellent location. Nice breakfast range for a 3 star hotel too. Lovely staff. Excellent shower.

Acropolis House remains a favorite hotel in Athens. Fabulous location - looking out onto the quietest street in the Plaka, off Syntagma Square, comfortable rooms and exceptional service including a boxed breakfast if needed, and great care & communication should you leave behind any belongings (!!!). Absolutely fantastic location - we explored all parts of Athens and the location could not be better. Hotel is quirky and the terrace with view over Acropolis is stunning. Our room had a beautiful balcony looking over the main cathedral. There was sufficient space, plenty of hangers in the wardrobe and a fridge. Room was spotless.

The location is great—very close to the Acropolis, the Agora, and other significant historical sites in Athens, so we walked everywhere. We really enjoyed the beautiful view from the rooftop of the apartment. There is also a nice café on the ground floor, and plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. The apartment itself was very clean, with comfy beds and everything we needed. Check-in was very easy, the staff were helpful, and it’s really convenient that you can leave your luggage in the luggage room.

Go beyond the Acropolis and explore the Agora and Kerameikos, imagining yourself entering Athens along the road from the port of Piraeus, and following the Panathenaic Way to the Akropolis. Stop at the museums along the way to understand the significance of each site. Then visit the National Archaeological Museum to see that classical Athens is just one of Greece's many magnificent cultures.

If you want to avoid crowds while seeing the famous sights, start out early and be at the sights when they open. I arrived at the Acropolis around 8:10 AM and there were only around 20 people on the whole compound. It was wonderful! There was a crowd climbing the hill when I descended, though!

Consider visiting Athens in May or September.

Consider visiting Athens in May or September. May is just lovely. Spring flowers like poppies and daisies cover the hills. It's not too busy and not too hot. Remember that on holidays you are always moving so consider the weather when you make your plans. Also, research opening hours as the Acropolis is closed May 1; and other Ancient Landmarks are closed on certain days and on certain hours any other day.
