Undoubtedly, the excellent location in the city centre within walking distance to the main local city services, transport infrastructure and other facilities is the main advantage of the hotel. A separate bonus is the quiet and safe neighbourhood. The staff is beyond praise, nett and friendly. The breakfast is classic European, but the coffee and juice are freshly prepared, which is not often found in large chain hotels, where they are usually excellent. Despite the fact that my trip was for business purposes executed, I had a wonderful opportunity to enjoy Greek history and culture in an absolutely comfortable environment. I recommend the hotel for both individual travelling and business tours

The views from the top are breathtaking!

The views from the top are breathtaking! It’s quite a climb up streets with lots of steps even to get to the funicular, so not for anyone with mobility needs. The funicular is in a tunnel so no views from it. That may be reassuring for anyone with vertigo. The little church is beautiful. Photos and video not allowed.

If you plan to walk, be sure to do so after sunset. Once you reach the top, you will enjoy the gorgeous city views. Walking advised only for those with endurance. Those any impediments will struggle and take a long time to ascend the climb.

If you can't walk the many stairs to cable car, take a taxi to cable car. 2 restaurants at the top with incredible views. Be cautious near church and lookout. Suspicious person followed us there and even down to the restaurant.

We walked to Lycabettus and then walked up the path to the top. Try to do this in the morning before it gets too hot. The path is good and we’ll maintained. Just go slowly. There is a cafe towards the top. Great views over all of Athens, and you can look down on the Acropolis

The views are amazing.

The views are amazing. If you are reasonably fit don't take the funicular....the views are brilliant on the walk up and down. And you've earned a nice coffee or drink with the €10 per person you saved!

It's a hike!

It's a hike! Bring some water, wear a hat for the sun, and wear some shoes w/ good grip. There's a cafe 2/3 of the way up w/ food/drink and more dining at the very top. Once there the view is amazing, you can see all of Athens 360 degrees!

We had a wonderful stay in Athens. Marry was incredibly friendly and supportive throughout our visit. The location is excellent, just 2 minutes from the funicular to Lycabettus Hill and a 9-minute walk from Evangelismos station, with most of the best areas easily walkable. The property was very aesthetic, smelled lovely, the bed was comfortable, and the rooms were cleaned daily, which was a huge bonus.

Top location. In a beautiful neighborhood with a view of Lycabettus Hill. A lovely young man at the reception greeted us at 11:45 PM from the airport because our flight was delayed. The reception closed at 11:30 PM, which is strange for a 4 star hotel. An old building made into a modern hotel.

Great location, excellent and fast communication with apartment owners. Just a few minutes walk from a local grocery AB Vasilopoulos with a wide range of goods. Also one more positive thing is self check-in/out option and hill nearby - from it opens view to Acropolis and Lycabettus hill

The place is located in a very good area — close to the Lycabettus Hill (Λυκαβηττός) and the metro station, yet still in a quiet neighborhood. It’s clean, very well equipped, and the communication with the helpful owner was excellent.

Spacious apartment at last floor, large terasse with sun all day. Equiped kitchen with many kitchenware and utensils, also basic cooking necessities. The owner is very nice and welcomed us and offered us wine and delicious fruits from his garden. He also allowed us to check out late without fee and was available for questions. There is also a guide for what to visit in Athens that he wrote. The area is very quiet and close to the metro (5 min). Also many bakeries and restaurant around. Walkable distance to Lycabettus hill.
