We stayed at the "Superior Double with French balcony" room in January 2025. As for the room, it was clean, cozy, and warm all the time, which was excellent as the weather was cold. We didn't encounter any problems with noise at all. The room had an espresso machine. In the lobby there was also a coffee machine, which was free to use at any time, which could make most (if not all) types of coffee, and a water machine with fresh water where we could refill our bottles. The room had a very small balcony with a view in the courtyard of the hotel, which was okay for us, as we did not go for the view while choosing the room. Also, smoking was not allowed even in the balcony, yet there was an ashtray right in front of the hotel's entrance. The personnel were very friendly and polite; they were willing to assist us in anything we wanted and provide us with recommendations whenever we needed them. As for the location, it was the best choice we could have made. The hotel is located in front of the Danube, in between two of the bridges. It is extremely close to the city center. It is also close to transportation, though all the attractions are accessible by foot. Overall, we had an amazing stay at the hotel, and we left completely satisfied. We highly recommend it.

The breakfast was amazing it is so good and there is a lot of food for any choice. The location of the hotel is so good I always reserve this hotel just because of the location and breakfast.

The room was fantastic - spacious, a good layout, nice furniture. I loved the floor to ceiling black out drapes - very elegant and practical. I loved the electronic panel to select the mood lighting and control the air conditioning. It was very simple to use. I loved that I could open the window and that the air conditioning automatically switched off when the window was open. Also the shower was the best I have ever used in a hotel.

    The Citadella is closed at the top for extensive repairs...

    The Citadella is closed at the top for extensive repairs that will extend well into 2024 or early 2025. If you expect to get a close up you will be disappointed. Wear good walking shoes or sports shoes. Make sure to visit the cave church at the bottom of Gerrard Hill.

    Currently under reconstruction and closed to visitors although you can still get to the top by vehicle or walking and enjoy the amazing views of Pest. Will be amazing and we’ll worth visiting when completed.

    Clean, comfy beds, big rooms and lockers, it has everything you need,staff is lovely. Probably one of my favourite hostels I've stayed in so far. Location is really great, especially if you want to go watch the sunrise at Citadella which I highly recommend!
