The staff is amazing, so helpful, full of kindness and often went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay for the 6 nights we were there. The place is a great value, great location, the rooms were very comfortable and clean and the hot water worked. They also have a generator that kept everything on even during the power cuts. It is a very well managed property and they really care that you are happy while you are there.

I stayed here for 15 nights. The staff were helpful, well-mannered and very friendly. Property is within a 5-minute walking distance from Laxman Jhula, it’s a 4-storey building and is very clean. Plenty of facilities available, including a gym and swimming pool (although I didn’t use them). The breakfast at its Holy Oven is very tasty, which caters for both Indian and Western tastes. The room service meal delivery is very quick and is available 24-hours. I would not hesitate to come back to this wonderful hotel and its wonderful staff. Thank you for a great stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lamrin Rishikesh, the locations is very calm & peaceful and near to the Ganges, perfect ambiance for relaxation. Food and services was exceptional, warm hospitality from the staff. Overall, my experience at Lamrin Boutique was fantastic. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with top-notch amenities and service.

Whilst here head over the bridge and go to the Beatles ashram Take ID as you will be asked for it Expensive entry fee if 1200 rupee fir foreigners but worth it as very peaceful place to go and the history there is amazing

Laxman Jhula was closed in October 2022 for maintenance.

Laxman Jhula was closed in October 2022 for maintenance. But, the boat was working so you can get across the river for 50INR. So if you are staying in Tapovan that should be alright. I did feel a little disconnected from the other side.

I like the location of the hostel, which is close to ganga. But the transportation facility to the hostel is not that good and budget friendly, if you like to walk then you can walk from Tapovan to laxman jhula which is much closer to the hostle.

My stay was pleasant overall. The room was comfortable, even if the view was different from what I expected (photo attached). The hotel is a bit far from Laxman Jhula, but this allowed me to enjoy beautiful walks along the Ganga and attend the Aarti at Triveni Ghat and Gangeshwar Ghat. Throughout my stay, the manager, Mr Deepak, was very kind and helpful

The hotel is close to the Laxman Jhula bridge and the main street that passes by it, which have many shops, restaurants, cafés, scooter renters and temple. Good value for the money. I enjoyed spending time on the roof terrace when not out and about.

I have booked for 1 night at The Ajna Resident Rishikesh. It was nice clean room with big mountain 🏔️ view balcony.. I have got a sun Rays early morning in my room, which is I really like. Most of the hotel doesn't have sun in Side of room.. But at The Ajna I got sun rays in my room early morning.. And they have a yoga hall also available, which was my favourite. I enjoyed a yoga on rooftop terrace also. From rooftop terrace you can see ganga view and full view of laxman jhula and Ram jhula also.

Terrakotta Rishikesh is a charming boutique hotel, conveniently located in the Tapovan area and just 10 mins walk from the Laxman Jhula bridge. The Terrakotta staff are friendly, and professional and always look after their guests really well. The attached Monsoon restaurant is very good - with an extensive menu (my current fave is paneer lababdar). I’m always welcomed warmly when I stay there and I look forward to returning another time.
