It is very convenient in terms of transportation, with direct access to the airport from the station. There are several small supermarkets nearby. The windows overlook the main entrance to the Arsenale, and in the morning and evening, there are almost no tourists here, and it is quiet. The kitchen was well equipped even though we didn’t use it much. Combined with AC it all made our stay comfortable. The host was also nice. Still the best thing though is the location with 15 min walk from Piazza San Marco, a bit calmer neighborhood and such view of Arsenale from apartment’s window you just can’t beat it. He gave us local information and was very friendly. The apartment was 10 to 15 mins walk to the main square and the vaperetto stop is a 5 min walk away to get all around the island. It was bigger than I expected, comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen for what we needed. There is a coop supermarket a couple of mins walk and it looks out onto a canal. The apartment is located in a great area with everything nearby: shops, the Biennale (Arsenale, Giardini). The apartment’s amenities were really good; the large kitchen had everything you need if you enjoy cooking, the living room is cozy, and so are the bedrooms!
