From the moment I arrived, I fell in love with this hotel -the beautiful garden and the incredibly warm welcome from the staff made such a great first impression. My room was clean, with a lovely view. I booked a small one, but honestly, it felt quite spacious, more than enough for me. The biggest highlight is the location: just a short walk to the Colosseum, and the Termini train station is easily accessible by metro. And of course, the garden and the surrounding neighborhood with ancient Roman ruins right around the corner make it truly special. I really couldn’t recommend it more!

Wonderfully comfortable charming hotel with super friendly staff. The location was ideal, 10mins walk from the train station and 10 mins walk to the Colleseum. Great restaurants close by, as well as small supermarket. The room was comfortable, beds super cozy and fluffy towels in the bathroom! The breakfast was tasty and had all the juices, meats cheeses etc as well as pastries and cereals. The staff will book a taxi for you if needed, and even have umbrellas for use if necessary.

The Colosseum

The fights! The glory! This iconic arena specialized in gory ends. Built in the 1st century, it held up to 80,000 spectators who came to witness gladiatorial combat and bloody reenactments of naval battles. When you look up at the stands, it doesn’t take much imagination to hear the deafening roar of the crowds or to picture the fierceness on display.

I almost got pickpocketed !

I almost got pickpocketed ! good thing my pouch was attached with a chain. Very crowded and too many people allowed in at once so it was almost impossible to really see anything. It seems making lots of money is the only thing that the people that run the place care about. Skip the Colosseum or at the very least book a small tour and skip the line.

The Colosseum and the Roman Forum area are interesting, but crowded. In some ways taking the suburban train out to Ostia Antica, the old port for Imperial Rome, is better as itthe layout is clearer, though you are under the flightpath of Fiumicino Airport.

Loved it. The first time I was there in 1969 I didn't get to go inside. This trip I did get to see it up close and personal. Like any attraction these days be prepared for everybody trying to take a "selfie". Make that "multiple selfies".

Disgusting, the ticket site and booking.com, changed times and all three tickets at the same time, tired to communicate with both sites, no joy wasted hundreds of dollars, way too many people booked for every second of the day, it is too chaotic, I nearly flew home to Australia, that's how bad the service was their and booking.com, you didn't answer or help. By far the worse tour

We loved the breakfast each morning, so many delicious options to choose from with such amazing polite staff, they were so friendly. The hotel was also walking distance to the pantheon, Spanish steps, the colosseum and Trevi fountain! Although the colosseum is a little further, it’s still walkable. The Vatican is what you’d take a taxi for. Overall, great location and friendly staff.

The location was great, within 20 minutes of walking distance from pretty much every famous attraction in Rome except the Colosseum. The apartment itself was great, spacious, clean, felt like home. I liked all the small details, it's clear the hostess has put thoughts into making it a hassle-free experience for the guests. There were amenities like Umbrellas, wireless chargers in every room, some snacks etc, small things that make it easy and peasant.

I do not recommend it if you need to get up at night to go to the bathroom. The apartment is full of stairs; my husband got out of bed at night to go to the bathroom and fell down the stairs, injuring his leg and back. Also, the bedrooms are connected to each other, so there is not much privacy. The host is very nice and the apartment is very well located, only a 5-minute walk from the Colosseum. It is located in a basement. One night there was a constant noise, like water running somewhere, and we couldn’t sleep at all.

Less than 10min walk to the main train station and buses stop. Less than 15min walk to the colosseum. The building is old but it has elevator. Rooms size are acceptable.

This apartment provided excellent value. Very close to the train station and a very short walk to the colosseum. There is a little neighbourhood close by with nice restaurants too. The apartment is efficiently planned and has 2 double beds. Nice big bathroom with a nice big shower (which can be hard to find in Italy). I would stay here again.

It’s a 5mins walk to the Colosseum, and you can see it just outside the window, it was very pretty! It’s a little loud out the window because of all the tourists going around late and early morning, but that didn’t bother me because I love all the attractions and the crowds. Everything was walking distance 15-20mins so that was nice. Laura was so sweet, she helped me steps by steps with directions coming from Venice to Rome so I wouldn’t get lost. Lovely lady!! Would definitely consider this place again if I come back to Italy.
