Fantastic location in a quiet neighborhood, but 3 minutes walk from major train/metro network. Good to be by Ueno station for direct line from Narita airport or Shinkansen north/south. Professional and friendly staff. Very comfortable bed (best sleep in 4 months after SE Asia travel) and clean room, small closet area and a refrigerator for 7-eleven drinks/snacks, just the right size for 2 people. Self-laundry was very convenient with washing machine that has built-in laundry detergent, makes it so simple. Outside lounge space was lovely. Felt like we could relax and feel at home.

Fantastic hotel! My single room was spotless, had a nice view and felt really spacious compared to other hotels I have stayed at in Tokyo. Additionally, the location was very convenient along the Yamanote line and the breakfast was delicious and varied. When picking up my luggage on my final day, I had a really nice chat with one of the staff members. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

We stayed here for five days with three rooms. The hotel gave us the rooms at the same floor close to each other. We booked three standard rooms and they upgraded two rooms to the suprior family room for free! Much appreciated! Rooms are super clean and I think it's rather spacous by Tokyo standards. The washing matching does both washing and drying and is very useful. Convinent store is just 2 min away so you could buy breakfast and snacks. One supermarkt is 5min away. We bought vegetable and noodles to cook dinner when we were tired of going out for dinner. Having some Kitchenette is a great pro of this hotel. The hotel is located in a very quite neghborhood. There are three different metro stations within 10-15min walking distance. This is convinent enough for us.

This was our 2nd stay at Wagokoro on this trip, and our last night in Tokyo, so we decided to get a traditional room this time with futons. It was a great decision. We stayed in a room downstairs that looked out onto a small garden area. The futons were set up by one of the wonderful staff while we were out for the evening. It was a very nice experience to arrive back to our beds being ready! The staff were fantastic. There was lots of water and tea available. The location is absolutely perfect, particularly for getting the Keisei Skylink to and from the airport, and the neighbourhood is very quiet. As a bonus, the best bakery (probably on the planet) is a short walk away, so breakfast was easy and always memorable. The only problem with our stay was that we had to leave. Thanks to the excellent staff for everything!

I spent 4 hours there but only went into the building with the Japanese artifacts and into the gardens. The cultural history of Japan was one of the things I wanted to learn about and this is probably the best place to do that. There were lots of beautiful items on display like ancient pottery, calligraphy, paintings, sculpture, samurai swords and armour. The gardens, which I saw at cherry blossom time supplied one of the most beautiful scenes I've seen in my life, looking across the pond past the blossoming trees to a crane that was stalking through the pond looking for food.

NMT is huge - in several buildings, so go early in the morning. Visit also buildings, that closes early (around 15 some of the parts are already closed). We visited museum twice, as there was special exposition ,dedicated to Ancient Mexico, we want to see, also to finish other parts of the museum. It is hardly to see everything in single day, so be prepared to rush, or to make good preparation what to see.
