The hotel is gem. The staff was amazing, all exceptionally helpful a nice. The room was spatious and comfortable. It was also very clean everywhere. The breakfast, and all the food in general was outstanding. Special thanks to the chef! The rooftop with the pool is a great place to chill. The interior design of the hotel is just so beautiful and carefully curated. We didn't want to go to a typical hotel that you can find in every country but some place that looked more authentic. Lao Poet definitely raised the bar high. We'd be happy to go back.

Wow! What can I say? There are not enough superlatives to do justice to this property. I would love to keep the secret of this wonderful place all to myself but that would be unfair to all those whose amazing efforts have brought this hotel to such an outstanding level. We have travelled throughout the UK, USA, Europe and extensively in SE Asia and we have never visited a better property than the Souphattra Heritage Hotel. The combination of a sympathetic heritage design, understated elegance and fine attention to detail, make this a 5 star + hotel. Everything is designed to offer luxury and privacy. From the marble and brass bathroom thyme to the old fashioned herring bone tiling techniques, it all comes together to create an amazing tasteful environment. The rooms are bright airy and spacious with high quality bedding and accessories. The facilities include a coffee shop, two restaurants, spa and beautiful pool area. All these areas continue to provide the same understated elegance common to the entire property. The staff all maintain the highest standards of professionalism while remaining engaging and friendly. Special thanks must go to Nouna, Nounee and Tookta who made our evenings at the bar such an entertaining and enlightening experience. My number one choice of hotel – ANYWHERE!!!! Location, staff and cleanliness. The hotel serves a wonderful breakfast. The front desk team was very helpful, prompt, and extremely courteous. It is located walking distance from all the markets and some of the temples.
