The location and the view from the hotel is really beautiful and the facilities are very clean and well maintained. the buffet breakfast is huge, with a lot of choice and even show cooking stations. The staff was extremely nice and helpful.

This cottage stay was everything I could have hoped for! Perched in the hills, it offered breathtaking views that were a treat to wake up to every morning. The serene atmosphere made it the perfect escape from city life. The breakfast was absolutely delicious—fresh, hearty, and full of local flavors. Ask for the Sri Lankan breakfast; it was amazing!! The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with amazing scenery and tasty meals, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

It's an English style park - and not a particularly good one...

It's an English style park - and not a particularly good one. If you've travelled from UK you've probably got one just as nice in your home town. For the entrance fee you do at least avoid the main road for some of the walk from Gregory Lake to the town centre.
