I had an excellent stay here, great staff and service. Very clean room, great bed/matress. Food was excellent, they have good chefs. It has a warm and cosy atmosphere, not too modern but also not too authentic. I used the gym but not the swimming pool but it is apparently heated.

Very friendly and helpful staff, fantastic garden to have breakfast in, modest but comfortable room , good WiFi, nicely tucked away location very close to the lake and shops and restaurants . Great value for money

Location was fabulous. Perfectly located slightly away from the noisy nightlife..Sumita the receptionist was an absolute delight. Loved her. Cancelled a night in Kathmandu to stay longer at Lake Shore..no better value for money.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Anaya. Our room was brand new, beautifully decorated, and had a stunning view of the mountains. The location is perfect — close to the lake, the boat dock, restaurants, and shops, yet very quiet. The staff was simply fantastic. They were so friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay special. They prepared an early breakfast for us, packed a delicious lunch for our early flight, and even helped arrange our flight to Kathmandu with a taxi. I’ve rarely experienced service like this — they really made us feel cared for. After our trekking tour, this hotel was the perfect place to relax. The price was more than fair for what we got. We can’t recommend Hotel Anaya enough and would happily come back!

Warmth and flexibility of the reception desk. Bindiya was pleasant to work with. She was quick to suss up the situation and delivered the best outcome. We were very happy. . Overall, the place was perfect, especially the beds.
