The Al Falaj Hotel is just fantastic! Excellent room service and front desk support. The breakfast is excellent. A pristine, well-kept setting! The wonderful pool is great for both kids and adults. Enjoyed, enjoying the steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi. Fantastic hotel in a great Muscat location. Pleasant staff and service. The organization of the rooms, dining areas, restaurants, meeting rooms, and party venues is impeccable. The lobby is gorgeous, and most guests are tourists. Being a family hotel, we had a lovely time there. Both residents and visitors to the area can enjoy a very excellent tea corner with a variety of tea and coffee. It is a reasonably priced piece of real estate. The Al Falaj Hotel provides ample parking, and all popular destinations like Mutrah, the corniche, Riwi, and the Royal Opera are within 10 to 15 minutes' driving distance. Rooms are large and very clean. The lobby is large and has comfortable seating. The pool and gym are easy to access and have towels etc. Breakfast is excellent with omelettes to order, fresh fruit, cereals, breads and more. The dinner is 3.9 OMR and has an amazing Indian buffet which we thought was devine and great value. The beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly. Easy to access with taxi app ‘OTAXI’ which doesn’t work in all hotels.

Close to bus transport heading to Dubai, also close to Mutrah and the souq

We're a group of 3 adults and booked the 2br suite/room. We didn't realize we had a balcony so that was a great addition. The rooms and beds were comfortable and reception were helpful with assisting us with getting taxis. The hotel is lovely and has great facilities and suitable for everyone. It's a 5 seconds walking distance from a fantastic Syrian restaurant (bait al yasmin) and a local burger place (Glare - get the Cali burger). It's a new hotel so most taxi drivers have no idea where it is but they can just plug it into maps or request going to either restaurants. It's also nearby a mall. I plan to stay there again during my next visit. If you need a taxi, the app and website for booking wont work unless you have omani phone number so youll need to request the hotel to book for you. please ensure requesting the hotel to contact the blue taxis as those are the ones allowed to pick up passengers from hotels (red taxis operate in the airport, orange anywhere on the road, blue for 4+ starts hotels -please insist-). Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

We got an early check in and late check out. Nice pool area. Walking distance to Muttrah souk and restaurants.
