I spend 3/4 months every year staying in 4 or 5 star hotels around the world. Super impressed by the size of the room ( biggest bathroom ever! ). Free minibar too ! Great location too. I have tram members coming to Bucharest on business travel soon. This will be our first choice.

The Grand Hotel Continental is one of the nicest places we have stayed in for a long while, the large room was recently refurbished and the beds were very comfortable. Completely peaceful at night with great air conditioning, shower and bath, we had a very pleasant 4 night stay. Having become a bit jaded over the years we were delighted to discover that room service was particularly good and thoroughly enjoyed the dishes we tried. The staff are great, unfailingly cheerful and helpful, we would like to particularly thank Mirela the Front Office Manager who really went out of her way to help us get some things organised in a very efficient and charming manner. The hotel is perfectly located a few minutes from the heart of the old town and if you’re there at the weekend the street outside becomes a pedestrian boulevard on Saturday and Sunday where there are often musical happenings going on. We have now stayed in quite a few hotels in Bucharest but we have now found our home and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in future.

Best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The room was amazing. I typically have to sleep with noise cancelling headphones when I am travelling, but did not need to here. Couldn’t hear a thing from outside the room and slept like a baby! Breakfast delivered to the room was also great. Thank you!
