It all went very well. The staff were friendly and very helpful and informative. They gave us lots of ideas for places to see and how to get around on the trams and ferries. The hotel restaurant food was excellent, breakfasts were very good indeed, dinners featured some local dishes too. The hotel has many historic features and its dining room is an amazingly lovely survival from an earlier age of elegance.
