Lovely guest experience staff. Huyun was just amazing from getgo as she helped a lot with the logistics bookings - airport transfers, Hanoi to Sapa bus and train tickets, weather prep, activities for kids and always checking in to see if we cathlch the bus/train etc. Very attentive team! Love the location too as it is just 100m away from the train street, 7mins walk to the beautiful lake, night market, lotsa lotsa chic cafes, a good 15min walk to most attractions such as Hoa Lo Prison, Mauseleum, Train station and Masjid Al Noor and the halal food enclave surrounding the mosque. Room size is huge and it fits all 5 of us - 1 kind bed and 3 single beds. Toilet and shower are combined and of good size. Warm shower works well and room heating too. We got a room with a nice small balcony facing the main street. Conveniently location as there are cafes, barber, spa right along the street but good that it wasnt noisy at night.

We stayed (family of 5), 2 nights at this very nice hotel in the center of Hanoi Old Quarter. The hotel is very clean and the staff very accommodating. We stayed at 2 inter-connecting rooms which were spacious. A nice, adequate breakfast was served on the top floor with a view of the Old Quarter’s building tops. This is not the hotel’s fault as with anyone who visited Hanoi’s Old Quarter would know that all the buildings are crammed and only have 1-2 sides of the building facing the street or the back. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

It's larger than you think, so give yourself some time to take it all in. You could just spend a couple of hours and skim over it, or you could spend all day. There's a lovely cafe at the northern end to break up your sight-seeing, refresh and keep going. The signage isn't fantastic, so use your maps & guides as much as you can or you might lose your bearings!

A really cool hostel in Hue. All the staff was so nice to us, we really enjoyed it! The hostel ist just a 10 minute walk away from the imperial citadel, so it was perfect for our one day stay in Hue. Very clean and comfy room and the breakfast was great as well.

It’s a great location right by the river and an easy walk to shopping streets. It was too hot to walk to the imperial Citadel, but with better weather it would’ve been fine. The swimming pool is very nice and the air conditioning in the rooms worked well. Staff are very helpful. The hotel has a very elegant colonial vibe and you can have breakfast outside in the garden.

Beautiful location on the Perfume River, not far from restaurants and within walking distance of the Imperial Citadel. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Lovely to have the pool for a quick splash at the end of a hot day. Staff were really friendly and helped us to organise local drivers for the tombs and Van Hai Pass (cheaper than internet prices).

The hotel and the staff are very welcoming, the rooms are nice and functional. The pool is quite big and good for swimming. The breakfast was very good, especially if you miss fresh white bread. The location is good, lot of restaurants near by. Vi Hue was really good. The imperial citadel is within walking distance but it is better to save the energy for walking within the citadel itself.

Than Thien Hotel is very well located to visit the Imperial Citadel and other tourist attractions. If you like walk you can do it by foot. A really friendly and helpful staff. The name friendly hotel is perfect to describe it. A very good buffet breakfast with variety. The room is cleaning and changing towels every day. A fantastic relation price facilities. Highly recommended for your stay in Hue !!
