I love everything about hotel. The staff is purely amazing. We arrived in the early morning and they let us sleep few hours in room despite we had booking only for upcoming night. Room was very clean, bed was super comfy, the size of room was just enough for couple. The breakfast was delicious with many options to eat. Location of the hotel is great. We spent here only one last night in Vietnam but speaking of accommodation it was cherry on the top of the cake. If I ever travel to Vietnam again, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

Stop looking, this hotel ticks all the boxes! What did we have a wonderful stay in this hotel. The location in Old Quarter is just perfect, with everything you need or want to see within walking distance. We (2 adults and a baby) asked the hotel if a baby crib could be provided. The hotel mentioned our booked room was too small for a baby crib and they would upgrade us to a bigger room so the baby crib would not get in the way. Great service! Our baby loves bananas. The staff was so generous with bananas and cookies, they gave him a couple every time they saw him. They were also really playful with him. He loved every minute of it! It was my wife’s birthday during our stay and I asked the hotel if they could arrange some decorations and such. Wow, was I surprised. The hotel arranged a birthday cake, wine, flowers and decorations. And when I asked afterwards what I needed to repay them, they mentioned it was all free of charge. Never did we receive this level of service. We would definitely book this hotel again when we arrive in Hanoi again. 10/10 would recommend this hotel, based on the location, service, price and rooms in general.

It's larger than you think, so give yourself some time to take it all in. You could just spend a couple of hours and skim over it, or you could spend all day. There's a lovely cafe at the northern end to break up your sight-seeing, refresh and keep going. The signage isn't fantastic, so use your maps & guides as much as you can or you might lose your bearings!

A really cool hostel in Hue. All the staff was so nice to us, we really enjoyed it! The hostel ist just a 10 minute walk away from the imperial citadel, so it was perfect for our one day stay in Hue. Very clean and comfy room and the breakfast was great as well.

It’s a great location right by the river and an easy walk to shopping streets. It was too hot to walk to the imperial Citadel, but with better weather it would’ve been fine. The swimming pool is very nice and the air conditioning in the rooms worked well. Staff are very helpful. The hotel has a very elegant colonial vibe and you can have breakfast outside in the garden.

Beautiful location on the Perfume River, not far from restaurants and within walking distance of the Imperial Citadel. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Lovely to have the pool for a quick splash at the end of a hot day. Staff were really friendly and helped us to organise local drivers for the tombs and Van Hai Pass (cheaper than internet prices).

The hotel and the staff are very welcoming, the rooms are nice and functional. The pool is quite big and good for swimming. The breakfast was very good, especially if you miss fresh white bread. The location is good, lot of restaurants near by. Vi Hue was really good. The imperial citadel is within walking distance but it is better to save the energy for walking within the citadel itself.

Than Thien Hotel is very well located to visit the Imperial Citadel and other tourist attractions. If you like walk you can do it by foot. A really friendly and helpful staff. The name friendly hotel is perfect to describe it. A very good buffet breakfast with variety. The room is cleaning and changing towels every day. A fantastic relation price facilities. Friendly staff made me feel welcome and let me store luggage, wash and get changed after I checked out. The hotel is in a perfect location near to bars and restaurants and also within walking distance of the Imperial Citadel.
