Fantastic stay! We absolutely loved our time at Maria Hau Cabanas, the room was perfect and in such an amazing location, right by the sea and close to town. Maria’s son greeted us at the airport and made sure we were looked after our whole trip, thank you for such an amazing time. Cannot recommend enough!

We stayed 7 days in the Kona Koa lodge and loved the place. The bungalows are nicely designed, very comfy and the garden is beautiful. We enjoyed the breakfasts on the high table, the afternoon on the terrace and the clear stars at night. We did not mind it was outside of Hanga Road, rather the opposite. The recommended German guide was excellent. The Family tried to make everything possible. Highly recommended.

The property itself is excellent. However it desperately needs air con as u cook inside the pods. The fan was almost non existent in the brutal heat. The staff were excellent but u need translation as English is not spoken. Pick up and drop off to the airport was very welcome. If u want to be close to the action tho, it’s not for you. Half hour walk to town in the heat isn’t doable. You need a car or scooter. It’s off the beaten track. The pool is a bonus but if ur in Easter island surely u won’t be laying around a pool at any time

Excellent location in Hanga Roa, not far away from Ahu Tahai to watch sunsets. Everything is a just a couple of minutes away - markets, shops, restaurants. WiFi is reliable and fast enough. First floor with beds can be a little hot but AC works perfectly. Terrace is shady, nice place to rest after tours around island. We just enjoyed the possibilities of our own kitchen. Patricia is such a nice host, she provided most info about the town we needed, upon arrival she picked us up at the airport and took us on a short town tour. Before coming she arrange several tours for us and took us to the airport when we were leaving this beautiful island.

Cabañas Tojika is such a winner and it was one of the most pleasant places I ever stayed in. The bungalow is super comfortable with a perfect bedroom, nice bathroom, very good kitchen, enough seatings and oh the view! No WiFi coverage in the bungalow but literally a stone throw away at the main building (and a surprisingly good one). A special shout-out to the owner Jimena who is a gem herself as well; that lady possesses the perfect mix of being brisk, sweet, fierce and no nonsense!
