Amazing! Incredible view (a small hike of around 20 min uphill to get there but for us this was part of the whole experience and actually really cool - but you have to consider this if you have heavy luggage or injuries) and you will have the accommodation basically for yourself, which makes it an unique experience. Polo was the greatest host. He cooked delicious meals for us and showed us his cacao/fruit farm. Definitely recommend to do the tour with him.

Everything about this place is beautiful, from the views to the rooms, we loved every moment of our stay here. Julia was so lovely and made us feel so welcome as soon as we arrived. One of the most relaxing places we have stayed in Colombia. The perfect place to watch sunrise. 100% recommend!

This was exactly what we were looking for. It was in a perfect location that had direct access to the beach and jungle. The hotel was quiet and perfect for relaxing. Plus, the beach bars a short walk away (but far enough to not hear their music) had a lively atmosphere that we could pop in and out of. Perfect combination. The staff was also incredibly sweet and helpful. Very grateful for them.

A unique location, stylish accommodation and friendly service. All the rooms are lovely but it’s worth paying extra for one of the bigger rooms if available - the views are incredible.

We loved our short stay at Cabana Barlovento, we wished to stay more but they were fully booked (for a reason). The view from our room has been amazing, we were literally above the beach. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The staff did everything to make our stay comfortable, many thanks for that!

The location of Quetzal Dorado is 17min walking distance from the Zaino Tayrona Entrance, or you can take a bus for 3k pesos (0.67Eur) We have breakfast included, and they were amazing as well as the full staff at the location, which service was top top. The Lodge itself was cleaned at all times. The room was well equipped for a relaxing experience. At dinner, you can have a panoramic view of the park while enjoying the meal. I loved how welcoming our hosts Justine & Danny were, plus they had amazing activities to offer. The kitchen area is just perfect to prepare some delicious dinner. The communal area with hammocks, couches and the pool are just perfect to relax after an adventure and the property is well maintained. Proximity to Tayrona National Park is just 10 walking minutes to the next entrance.
