Cabins totally in the forest. Very clean. Excellent meals prepared when possible with local if not their own products. Very welcoming ambiance. The staff (front desk and restaurant) are very nice, very dedicated, and do all they can to make your stay enjoyable. To live Costa Rica, you have to stay there!

Had an awesome visit! There are SO many great sodas and places to eat at in town, we didn't necessarily want to pay for included breakfast. The kitchenette was perfect, and we could re-heat leftovers etc, but it really felt more like staying at our own place. We hardly saw another person (staff or guests, but we know they were there!) the whole time, and it was so peaceful. Staff was very responsive to questions via Whatsapp, and the instructions for getting in and out of the gate/ parking area/ keys etc were very clear.

Nohe and Jay were very welcoming and the food (we had breakfast and dinner) was delicious and well balanced. We loved the vibe of the little oasis and would recommend the night walk with Jay to anyone. We learned a lot about the local wildlife from them and also got wonderful tips for the rest of our trip. We would have loved to stay a little longer.

Breathtaking views from the house and very well managed. The house was clean and has all the necessary things required for family. We had to cancel our sight seeing plans just to stay in the house and enjoy the vibe. Highly recommended.

"During my stay at La Finca Lodge, it was just what I expected — peaceful, with a relaxing atmosphere that gives you space to rest, yet with activities readily available, like the ATVs, which we enjoyed even in the rain. I highly recommend it. The staff is excellent, and their recommendations are spot-on, always aiming to make sure guests enjoy their time both inside and outside the property. The location, the noises of the animals, the ambiance is a bit surreal as soon as you enter the property. We spotted many monkeys and birds without leaving the front porch. The porch was also the perfect spot to read a book and enjoy all the green surrounding you. It is super quick to get anywhere if you have a car

    Great location only 5 minutes from La Fortuna waterfall. Rustic lodges in the rainforest, each having privacy from the others. Walking trails in back of lodges. Loved the high ceilings and the wood accents, the air conditioning, the coffee maker in the room, and the balcony with rocking chairs. We sat outside and watched birds upon our arrival. Shower was spacious. Breakfast was delicious. Host was very friendly and offered tours if we wanted them, including a night walk onsite.

    Beautiful, good quality lodges located in the middle of the jungle. Stunning nature. Obviously no chance to have a good night sleep with monkeys jumping on the roof at night, priceless. :) Nice breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Strongly recommended!

    The rainforest setting is so beautiful. The lodges are completely immersed. Dozens of birds can be heard. Three friendly dogs and 2 cats live on the property and come visit. We stayed in a 3 bedroom private lodge that had everything we needed to sleep comfortably and prepare food. The owner and staff are very responsive and help book tours and rides.

    The lodges are very comfortable. The ceiling fan works really well at keeping the room cool. The restaurant is nice and there are bird feeders next to the dining area where you can watch the birds as you eat. There is a small forest and garden area. They have more feeders in the garden which attracts a good variety of birds.
