CanadaThe stay itself was fantastic. The room was nice, we enjoyed the little pool, breakfast was good, and it was in a peaceful quiet spot.
The host though, saved our trip on its first day. I was trying to turn around in the driveway and got our rental SUV stuck in the grass against a tree, right away he called up some neighbours to help push it out. After I was so stressed and he offered his beers to help us relax. What a great guy, and great introduction to tico hospitality.

Perfect location for exploring the national park and a day trip to the nearby adventure park. The lodge is well maintained and very spacious. There's good food options at the restaurant. The lodge itself is rustic, but very well maintained, and super clean. The staff were very helpful.
