Sprawling gardens with masses of wild flowers and an abundance of wildlife. Lots of different options for quirky and comfortable accommodation. Friendly staff in the welcoming cafe- delicious wholesome meals with loads of fresh produce from the kitchen garden was reasonably priced. Plenty to do onsite- rowing, paddle boarding, games and books. Firepit and marshmallows in the evenings. Shower block was clean and offered privacy- beautifully decorated individual washrooms.

Our first time at Woodlakes, will be the first of many. Clean, warm and cosy. The bed more really comfortable, shower and all running water was hot, and the sound of the road was non existent in the cabin. For three nights fishing in November it was absolute luxury. All the staff we spoke to were friendly and really helpful. Beautiful grounds and overall an absolute win.

The boiler was not working the whole time we were there so no heating took 2 visits by engineers to rectify which took 4 days night time temp 2-3 degrees
