The location was a bit far off from the main sightseeing area, but it makes for a fantastic glamping experience. Both breakfast & dinner were excellent, with the experience to make our own meals + even roast our own coffee beans! Location is great, you can see Mt. Fuji from the site. I stay in the Pao and did not expect it's so spacious and comfy. The BBQ is interesting - staff was very helpful and showed me how to set up a charcoal fire; food is also impeccable. I went there to run the Kawaguchiko marathon and asked the reception for taxi booking. The hotel staff told me it's very hard to book a taxi now but someone from the site offered to give my a ride on the morning of the race day. I'm really really grateful for the amazing overall experience.
