The highlight of my stay here is the magnificent view of Mt. Yotei from my hotel window. It was so beautiful! I stayed on a private room with tatami style bed, very spacious and you get to have your own fridge and private bathroom. It was comfortable and I had a very good sleep :) The room is also equipped with heater to keep warm during winter. The location is 2-4 mins walk to the nearby bus stop, restaurant and 7-eleven. Quiet neighbourhood away from the crowded centre. Grand Hirafu Base is 15 mins travel by bus from the hotel. The bus comes every hour so make sure to check the bus timings and plan ahead of time. Also, Mr. Sato is a friendly host. He speaks good english and he offers free transfer (by request) to Kutchan Station, but you need to arrange it with him. Would recommend and will stay here again when I come back to Niseko!

Very friendly older couple :) The cabin had everything (running water, toilet, wood stove, kitchen, futon). By car close to the ski areas. I loved the experience with the wood stove during winter

Very comfy, homely feel, well priced In an expensive town and the staff were great always wanting to chat and check up on you. Suits people willing to accept there is a bar underneath that’s open till 11pm. I will be coming back plenty of good times were had.

Great location, just 10 minute walk to Grand Hirafu central bit of shops and restaurants. David and Elle are great hosts, always so kind and helpful, they made us fantastic breakfast every morning and drove shuttle up to the mountain. Walk back from ski field to accommodation was just around 10 minutes. Accommodation was always clean and warm, perfect place for ski holidays!

The staff were amazing and the beds were unbelievably comfy. The language students were lovely too, and so friendly. Short walk to the closest ski lift and great gear storage area. The facilites were brilliant, amazing kitchen and lounge area too. The perfect spot for a ski holiday in the winter.

The staff is charming and made everything as easy as possible. The breakfast is very good. Also, I would like to point out that we had a problem with the bus and the owner came to pick us up and drove for half an hour to help us. In short, exceptional!

Everything was amazing. Right next to the bus stop. Staff were amazing. We forgot our passport and they sent to Tokyo in time for our flight out. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Amazingly welcoming and helpful hosts. Scrummy breakfast served each morning with great tips as to how to get lift passes / access the resort / book restaurants. Nothing was too much bother. Totally brilliant!
