Very wonderful accommodation just outside Dambulla. The boss welcomed us with a drink and looked after us the whole time. The boss met the individual needs of each of us. The breakfasts were plentiful and always with a nice comment about Sri Lankan cuisine. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we felt very happy, friendly and safe here.

It was a magical experience to stay at Dambulla tree house.The owners were very welcoming and the food on offer was totally delicious, friendly, helpful staff with a good explanation for every dish they served. If you love to cook authentic foods they arrange it in their farm hut, it's an awesome experience to know how they prepare local foods.. I loved the rustic architecture of the treehouse accommodation and the beautiful green surroundings . The bed was comfortable and I had a good sleep. I saw and heard many beautiful birds and other native wildlife, such as squirrels, jungle fowls, mongoose, land monitors and more fire flies during the night. It was a great place to relax and also a good base to visit the many sites of the cultural triangle, Dambulla, Sigiriya, Pindurangala.. They have well organized jeep safari service to watch wild elephants..

This place was an absolute experience! The views were seriously breathtaking and most of all if you are looking to relax, connect with nature and have the best time disconnecting this is the ideal place. The food served was really delicious as well. Would recommend this 100% to anyone travelling solo or with a family.

We stayed 2 nights at the Sigiri art home. It is a lovely place hidden in the jungle. From the comfortable furniture at the patio, you can enjoy the sights of the beautiful garden. When we arrived we were welcomed very kindly. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The AC functioned perfectly. In the morning we got a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. The host and his wife are kindhearted and want to make sure your stay is up to your wishes. When we ran out of gas with our rented tuk tuk, the host even brought us to a gas station to get a bottle of fuel. He was truly a lifesaver.

The property was very basic but was exceptional for the price. The owner of the lodge and his wife were incredible and her cooking was amazing. We were able to do everything we wanted to do in just a one night stay because they arranged all of our travel. All of the tourist attractions are within easy reach from the lodge and they organised an incredible elephant safari for us at Kaudulla national park.

Our stay at Machcha Lodge was absolutely perfect! The owner (Kamal) is extremely friendly and he helped us in every situation. He arranged transportation (tuktuks or bus ride to our next destination) for us, he brought us fresh fruit from the garden, he made tea for us and he was always doing it with a smile on his face:) The rooms were very nice clean with a good shower. And the breakfast was delicious as well!

Very much in the heart of nature. A spacious room. The breakfast was good and substantial. Sadeepa, the hosts' son, helped me a lot. He advised on the walks up both Pidurangala and Sigiriya Rocks. As he had a tuk tuk it was easy to get to each of the Rocks to do a sunrise walk. He kindly came early in the morning to pick me up and charged a fair rate. Sadeepa also helped me to get my laundry done and was a great help, which made my stay very easy and pleasant.
