We stayed at this place With my boyfriend during our Srí Lanka trip, and it was simply perfect. Room was so clean, it had everything we needed, the place was peaceful and had a beautiful garden With a lake. our absolute favorite stay in sri lanka! we kept extending it because oh we loved it so much. 1. the place is ideally located between dickwella and hiriketiya. close to the main road but far enough to be quiet! (important for us) 2. the room is extremely clean and well-thought out. very beautifully decorated with so much love and attention to detail. we had everything needed and couldn’t ask for more really. having our own kitchen was a huge plus and you can also do your laundry here. 3. the host Dasitha is one of the nicest (if not the nicest) person we’ve ever met. he was so patient and humble and truly cared about our experience…! very welcoming and friendly. great communication too. made our stay so special. helped us a lot in all possible aspects of our travel. feeling very grateful we decided to stay there and meet him. 4. the space: there’s a quiet outdoor area with sunbeds. we loved it! 5. unbeatable value for the price.! we couldn’t wish for a better accommodation! can’t recommend enough and look forward to coming back. thank you so much Dasitha!

I had the most wonderful stay at Taragala Chalets. Saman was so kind and looked after me so well. I felt very privileged to stay in such a beautiful place and see amazing birds in the garden and in the wetland nature reserve beside it. Nothing was too much trouble for Saman and he took me around and showed me the lovely village, the beach and Taragala Rock. The food was amazing. It was the highlight of my trip. I have very happy memories and hope to be back one day.

We had a great time staying here. What we didn't realize beforehand is that there are two rooms with large beds, so this is great for a family as well as solo travelers or couples. As others have said, having the kitchen was a nice plus. Overall, there was a lot of space and Isuru was a very kind and generous host. We especially liked how clean and newly done the bathroom was. The food provided everyday was great and he was always there to answer any questions and help us. Highly recommend!

The property is in a quite area and it’s perfect if you’re looking for a non-touristy place. Just a few steps from the beach where you will basically find no other tourists, which is great! The room is clean and spacious, it has an AC and there is a spacious bathroom. The owner is very hospitable and helpful. They also have a restaurant where you can have breakfast, dinner, drinks, etc. Ideal place for a peaceful stay.
