We stayed in a very clean double room on the ground floor of the main building with French windows opening onto a patio with a view of the garden and the swimming pool. The room was comfortable and very well decorated with good furniture and an eye for authentic details. We had electric sockets near the bed, good reading lights. The bathroom, in traditional tiles and tadelak, was spacious with a good shower and plenty of hot water. The air conditioning helped with heating the room (February). We had a kettle in the room, which I appreaciated and used to make hot water bottles. The only time we had a kettle during our tour of Southern Morocco. There were sachets of coffee available too, as well as leather slippers for use indoors. The staff were friendly and chatty. There was internet everywhere on site, a little slow but quite adaquate. The dining room was spacious and Morrocan-style, with fantastic views of the mountains, a welcome fireplace and it had a roof terrace. There is covered car parking within the grounds. We felt relaxed and spent a quiet stopover night in comfort. We definitely recommend this hotel.

We are 2 days into our 3 day stay. What an amazing place it is. Immaculately clean and wonderful, friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. The food is out of this world and the property itself is huge and beautifully kept. We hope to be back sooner rather than later. Atlas Smile mountain retreat would surely be one of the greatest artists of all time.Do try the cookery classes with a tour of the vegetable and herb garden. A special place.peaceful gardens, luxurious accommodations and attentive service. This is a place to relax but also to get to know the Berber culture.

This is a really amazing place that you need to visit! The surrounding is beautiful and the location of the house and the terraces. You can walk from the house to beautiful old villages where you find yourself in a different world. The food is also great! We cannot recommend this place highly enough - the setting is perfect with a small number of lodges based around a pool overlooking the mountains. Bertrand, the owner was a perfect host giving us the history of his families involvement since buying the site as a holiday home in the 1930’s. Delicious dinner by a log fire, the food and staff are excellent. We booked as our final stay in a road trip around Morocco, as it is about 1 hour from Maraketch airport, wish we had more time here. Highly recommended for a short sunny break or as a stop-off for wider travel in the area. Thankyou!

It's an absolutely beautiful place, with much love to detail, a really friendly atmosphere outside and inside the hotel. Hassan, the manager, is doing his job really professionally, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Great view from the terrace.
