The staff felt like a little family. The location is a bit out of the centre, so you are not bothered by all the other tourists. The jungelows are stunning. They are a bit open wherefore you feel like you live with the outside area as well. From the bathroom, we could see amazing birds and had a beautiful view of the mountain. The food is also amazing and reasonably priced.

Good location near the entrance of the park. Beds are very comfy. Staff are excellent. Put us in the family room for free when I requested twin beds. Excellent breakfast. Lots to do and see around the lodge. Smart TV. Good wifi.

Staying at riverside cottages was a really cool experience. The accommodation is right in the jungle so it’s good to keep in mind that you will be surrounded by wildlife and insects. This was something I was nervous about but when you just accept that it’s the jungle you really get the most out of it. The room was super comfortable, had everything we needed. The bed was comfy, mosquitoes nets were good quality, bathroom was perfect. The balcony’s are really cool because if you’re sitting on them you are in the jungle and can hear all the jungle noises. Yes there were geckos and insects in our room but it’s expected and you are protected by the net when you’re sleeping. There was no AC but we found it fine, we were here in May when there was a bit of rain so this might have helped but it was manageable. The restaurant is lovely on site, does everything you need. We went to the local town for dinner one night and there are lots of options available. You can get to the town by the free shuttle bus that runs every three hours or can ask for alternative times for a small charge. We did a night time canoe tour and the overnight lake stay through the hotel and they were brilliant. The overnight lake tour was more than we could have ever expected - this is a must do if you’re visiting. Recommend booking through the hotel to ensure you get a good experience. If you’re looking for a jungle experience this is definitely a great option!

The bungalow looked like it was newly built and was very clean. Mosquito net was available and the water pressure pretty good. They let us leave our luggage there for a whole night while we were on an overnight trip on the lake. The breakfast was honestly the best i had in thailand yet. They let you choose from a menu and then cook everything anew + you can order as much as you want. Next time i'm in thailand i'll defenitely be staying here again.

The rooms were lovely! They were very comfortable and considering we were in the jungle, had very few bugs in the rooms! It was such a beautiful area and a lovely walk down a garden path to get to the rooms. The staff were so helpful and were so welcoming. The lady behind reception (we forgot her name) was particularly great.

The Royal Bamboo Lodge is set 300 metres from Khao Sok National Park. It offers a swimming pool and a kids playground. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is provided.

Comfortable clean room, 10 minutes from the centre of Khao Sok. Friendly, helpful staff. The restaurant at their other location in the main street serves excellent fresh Thai and western food much of which comes from local farms.

Cannot recommend this place enough - it's in a beautiful setting, a unique and memorable lodge with lovely rooms, great food and plenty of wildlife watching from your own balcony! The rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast is served with a stunning jungle view (recommend the southern style pad Thai, massaman and pork congee). The highlight however really is the wonderful staff. I was unwell (started before I arrived) and they were so sweet, bringing me homemade ginger, honey & lemon tea, fresh fruit and specially made soups and checking on us daily. Aside from this they were very informative, friendly and helpful. I really can't praise them enough!
