Amazing overall experience! The ocean views from the restaurant and seafront rooms kept us relaxed all week long. Staff are friendly and tend to your every request with a smile. Martin is also a fantastic manager and looked after us and our friends throughout our stay. We also loved the food - a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options and a lovely dinner menu each evening. The entertainment provided during dinner is also really good (much better than some of the other resorts we've stayed at in Zanzibar). A really awesome place to stay, highly recommended!

Really enjoyed my stay at Zanzibar Lodge! The place is very nice, with big, comfortable rooms. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I loved having the animals around. The location is great too, just a short walk to the beach and main road. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend for anyone visiting the area

Location is great. A 15 - 20 minute walk from the hotel to Nungwi beach but you can take a bike and get there in about 8 minutes approximately. A bit further from Kendwa Beach as you will need to take a taxi to get there. Best to go with a group or friend and split costs if on a budget. Ahmed is a nice guy. He is humble and the staff are similar in nature. As a solo traveller, I felt safe in general. A good bet if traveling to Nungwi in general.

Situated in Nungwi, near Nungwi Beach, Kibanda is a lodge boasting a garden. Private parking is available on site.

Kibanda Lodge is a great place to stay if you want to enjoy Nungwi. the rooms are very modern and clean, the swimming pool is clean and very nice to relax. The staff helps in any possible way, like organising nice excursions for a very competitive price so you don’t have to check all the offers online. the hotel has no direct access to the beach. but whenever you need the personnel can bring you to the beach if they can call a taxi for free for you! one evening they also organised a Maasai show directly at the restaurant.. it was a very nice surprise! in our package we had breakfast and lunch or dinner included (we could decide day by day if having dinner or lunch), we choose most of the times the dinners and we never regret, they were always very good and full of courses. Everybody is very friendly and welcoming, you can fell the family atmosphere!

Loved the setting with the infinity pool view from above, food was good and rooms comfortable. Beach setting excellent, great rock pooling at low tide.

Inside and out all new Bangalow, built Dec 2022, grounds make shade for perfect breakfast outside, huge terrace for sitting. Host Rabia went above and beyond to make sure you got everything. Inside, you got fridge, fan, AC to cool down from sun heat. Located next to expensive hotels where you can sit and have drinks. Walk to the beach 5 min just across the road. 20 min walk to main street with local shops food etc. During low tide, go to near light house beach its best for chill in ocean, relax in shade of trees among big volcanic rocks. Not much people around as they stay inside hotels, very safe. You can buy fish and octopus from locals on the beach. Mango, watermelon is a must to eat all day so cheap and lots in February.
