New ZealandWe loved staying at The Lodge. Family of four of which two where teenagers. We love the convenience of being on the mountain and the wonderful views to the mountain. We didn’t want to leave! 5 minute walk to slopes ( without gear). Shuttle ran every half hour if you did not want yo walk. The ski storage room is right at the front door, so you can drop your gear there. A hot drinks stand ( coffee tea hot chocolate) also by the front door so very much appreciated, so nice to have a hot drink when you come in frozen. The spa pools ( two outdoor one indoor ) again perfect for soaking after being out in the cold. Beds where very comfortable plenty of pillows. Small kitchen so we cooked a few meals. Staff where exceptionally friendly and greeted us everyday when we came in. Super nice people

I was in the upper tier of the hospitality sector for many years but the cost of staying at the lodge was a complete rip off. The room was no better than staying in a comfort suites.
