I stayed at 7 locations across Alaska, this was the best by far. Perfect location, homely common area with books and a TV etc, SUPER comfortable beds, cabins felt so cosy, fun Alaskan themed decor made it feel like a home and not just a hotel; the staff went out of their way to allow us to check in very late by leaving a friendly personalised note. You can wander down to the banks of the Susitna River to the most spectacular Denali view. Cannot recommend this Lodge enough!Guest review byEstherFamily with young children

When we arrived, however, after the designated check in time, we discovered our room was filthy and not even cleaned. They did move us to another room. There was no air conditioning and the room was very hot even with the fan provided. Staff was indifferent, food was very expensive. I received a phone call three different times from the lodge after I left stating I didn’t pay. I was able to retrieve my receipt from booking.com and prove otherwise.
