Our experience at this lodge was hands down wonderful. The room was spacious&clean and had an amazing view to the river. The nature around was beautiful. The whole experience felt really private. We booked a guided tour and a game drive which was also very private. The ranger who ran the activities was simply wonderful. He shared his deep knowledge in flora & fauna, we really enjoyed our time with him. We saw a variety of animals, not only on the guided tours but as well as just walking around property. The value for money is just insanely good. +The food was delicious! Best wishes to Dean & Fay who really cared to make our time at the lodge memorable. Would love to come back. Thank you!

It was one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed in for a long time. Although the photos already looked stunning, the reality far surpassed our expectations. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff with freshly made roosterkoek and vetkoek. The cabin was beautifully furnished and decorated, striking the perfect balance between nature and luxury. The bed and linen were exceptionally comfortable and of outstanding quality. This truly is the ideal destination for a disconnected weekend or holiday — the perfect place to reconnect with nature while enjoying ultimate comfort and luxury.

Martin and his team were absolutely incredible. From personalised meals to great conversations at the bar or front of the braai. Rooms were spacious and clean. The lodge was private enough to feel that we were in nature, but the location was conveniently close enough to Grahamstown to visit family whenever we wanted to.
