The property is certainly 5 Stars. The landscaping, staff and service are exceptional. The thatch styled rooms fit in perfect with the rural location and very elegant. We were pampered like royalty. This is the best property we've booked with Booking.com and we have booked over 100 properties.

Africa nature at it's best! Clean, easily accessible cottage. Very quiet, safe place to stay. Services were friendly, helpful and meals were delicious. Views of the bush with a pond! Sit on the front porch and see baboons, rhino, antelope, giraffe and Impala. What a treat! Will go back

My stay at Victoria Falls River Lodge – Zambezi Crescent was absolutely incredible. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The service was outstanding, and the staff truly made the experience unforgettable. Everyone—from the chef to the grounds staff—was warm, welcoming, and dedicated to ensuring a top-tier experience. The rooms have a beautiful rustic exterior while offering modern comfort inside. The property itself is stunning, and I found it worth every penny. My tour guide, Mike, was hospitable and thoughtful, making every excursion even more enjoyable. The woman who handled laundry and ironing went above and beyond—her attention to detail was truly appreciated. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to add more lighting around the property, but that’s a minor note in an otherwise flawless stay. I would absolutely return and highly recommend this lodge—10/10! A fantastic experience all around.

My wife and I loved everything about Shrub Lodge. We stayed for 6 perfect nights. It is situated in a very good central quite residential location very close to the Falls and town centre. We think this is a new or recently built lodge, much more modern than any lodge we saw in Victoria Falls. The grounds, lobby, restaurant and spacious, modern high ceiling rooms were perfect. Great strong warm shower too. Our room had a modern, clean bathroom with a walk in shower and stand alone bath tub. The modern room furnishings and high quality queen size bed and bed sheets/ white new comforter was great too. There is also a beautiful clean pool in the middle of the lodge. So much attention to detail in this resort. The service we received from every single staff member at the lodge was so fantastic it is hard to describe . We literally felt like we were with family from the reception, restaurant and housekeeping staff to the Lodge drivers. One huge benefit was how easily we booked all of our safari tours, evening shows , boat tours and transportation through the lodge with great ease and for fair pricing. The included breakfast was also very enjoyable with a good variety of items and gentle, great service. All in all, this is the best lodge my wife and I have every stayed in.

Breakfast was great. The staff was very accommodating. When i had to leave early, they prepared an early breakfast. Staff was super welcoming and friendly. The facility is beautifully designed. Loved the african theme. Location was perfect for me.

    Everything. The place is really peaceful with only 4 lodges, the lodges have everything you need, Millie and the team are so nice and helpful, we really did not have to think about anything there. It also doesn’t hurt that it is right on the game reserve and you wake up to zebras, impalas and baboons!
