The room was as expected for a ski lodge, comfortable and well equipped. The room faced the mountains and had balcony views towards the Gosausee. It was ideal for young families and had a room designated to keep the youngest entertained.

From the moment you see the hut on the side of the mountain you feel a home from home. Relaxing, quiet (interspersed with the melodic sounds of cow bells) & comfortable. Bernhard & his team are like a welcoming family. Comfortable bunks, scrummy Austrian food & delicious homemade schnapps. If you want to experience a traditional mountain lodge experience this is a great place to start. With unexpected bonus fast wifi!

It really is a unique place to stay, we loved the lodge “Belladonna” we stayed in, everything was clean, we were very surprised by the comfort of the toilet and the bathroom as it was similar to a normal house, there was a private beach only for lodge residents with grass, trees and two chairs with a stunning lake view, the owner told us some interesting facts about the lodge, place was not very crowded so it felt like we had the lake and beach all to ourselves We will surely come back to check out other lodges!

Everything exceeded our expectations ... The chalet is spacious and bright, with plenty of natural light, a perfect wood-burning stove, a coffee machine and good coffee beans, and simple self-catering facilities. We chose this lodge because it was in the city centre but also close to the lake area, but the gardens and facilities were so beautiful and have a good taste that we didn't want to leave the chalet we were staying in for even a moment. We would return again in a heartbeat.
