Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, free BBQ facilities and a free airport shuttle, Saltbush Retreat is a 3 minutes’ drive from Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame and Qantas Founders Museum. I had a lovely stay at this country-style accommodation! The rustic charm of the place really stood out, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The cabin was equipped with everything I needed, from the comfortable furnishings to the thoughtful amenities. The peaceful surroundings and warm lighting made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a quiet, country-style retreat!

Located in Cannonvale, 9.8 km from Airlie Beach, this property offers a unique wildlife experience in a tranquil Australian bush setting. Great great great! Friendliest staff, quiet and special place, tons of wildlife around, many goodies in the refrigerator such as chocolate and marshmallows for the campfire (they also supply with wood and everything needed for a campfire). We had an amazing stay and even added more nights because we liked it so much

Loved the focus on wildlife spotting and nature, the look and feel of the eco-lodge (paintings of wildlife, outdoor space, open kitchen), really enjoyed talking with Bella about the wildlife we were seeing and where to go out looking. Also loved the complimentary coffee/tea and milk, free fruit from the garden, as well as the communal kitchen.
