Bar/ restaurant was very good! We didn’t get to enjoy as much of the property as we’d liked since it was raining and we had to leave early but everything that we did see was just as perfect as the pictures online show

The restaurant has the most amazing menu, outstanding quality, presentation & each recipe incorporates a local ingredient, such as fruit, tamarind, & fresh fish.

The location, facilities & the staff were terrific! Sleeping Giant Resort is located right off beautiful Humming Bird Hwy, not that far from Belmopan, close to Herman's Cave & The Blue Hole. I believe the whole resort & development covers 500 acres, so it feels like you are in your own world! We loved the bikes, hiking trails, bridges, lookout tower, animals (poultry, peacocks, sheep, horses, bunnies, turtles, birds), river/tubing, outdoor wood-fire pizza dining area, restaurants, pools, gardens, sitting areas, large rooms, everything was bonus! We felt like celebrities lol, all the staff was amazing, friendly, kind, so helpful! The higher price justified the inclusions & amenities. We came during low season & stayed in Riverview room #5, so it was a great value. We loved everything about this place & can't wait to return! Thank you <3

El Pilar is 19 km from Yumas Riverfront Lodge, while Barton Creek Cave is 25 km away. The property is well- hidden in a little bit of paradise. The rooms were just great, “chic” and superclean. It is a fantastic place! Highly highly reccommended. A note on the staff: -Crystal ( hope spelling is right!). She was superhelpful with info from booking to check-out. Great host - cleaners ( apologies as I dont know their names). Just fantastic! Also, I left a large amount of money in the room when we left ( thought I lost it somewhere else) . Everything was returned to me after few days. Chapeau!!

We tubed down the river, pet the bunnies & donkeys & ate fruits & vegetables raised on the farm. The pictures of the rooms & common areas don’t give this justice. We went to the ruins & had a phenomenal guide (Gershwin) that made all the difference. I felt extremely safe & a part of something bigger than myself. Thank you so much for an experience I will never forget. I felt like part of your family. I already miss waking up to the sounds of the birds & monkeys in the jungle.

With river views, Lower Dover Jungle Lodge & Maya Ruins is set in Unitedville and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden, terrace and barbecue. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Location is top tier, we get to go the sleep and wake in the jungle. There are many trails around the camp where you can hike, go for a swim or just discover the ruins. Staff is friendly and helpful (Maddy drove me back to the bus stop), food was tasty, there is hot and drinking water, beds are comfortable ! I highly recommend you to stop at Lower Dover, you won’t regret it :)

Each charming bungalow and villa has a balcony with wonderful river views. The staff knows what you need even before you need it! Absolutely fantastic. This was one of our best experiences with truly professional and attentive staff. Property is gorgeous and does not feel crowded evenn at full capacity. The perfect place if you are looking for a quiet hideaway in the jungle.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. I literally loved everything about Hidden Valley. From the spectacular surroundings to caring, friendly, and attentive staff, this spot completely exceeded my expectations. While we didn't partake in the outings, they could have planned any number of them for us. Einer and his team were also so helpful in getting some documentation copied, scanned, and emailed for us at no charge, which was a huge help. The food was very good, and the surroundings are just incredible! Cannot recommend Hidden Valley enough!
