This is unique place to stay - an experience in its own right! The location in the Swiss alps is beyond stunning, and the welcome was very friendly, with beautiful food both in the evening and at breakfast time. The whole property was comfortable, full of character, and warm. The footpath up to Casa Ristorante Belvedere from the train station can be challenging with bags, particularly if arriving after dark, but is well worth it. Highly recommended.

Chesa Plattner is located in the heart of Pontresina in a quiet yet central location with panoramic views. It houses ten Alpine Lodges, accommodating two to six people. Super comfortable, well equipped apartment, centrally located in Pontresina (we just went out every morning for a walk to be greeted by the ibex in the Steinbock Promenade!)

The booking confirmation said they only have limited parking space, and it's first come first served. We arrived after 18.00 and there was ample parking space available. The receptionist also showed us the bike storage so we did not have to leave or bikes on the car carrier over night. We booked a room in the lodge and at check in got an upgrade to a bigger room in the hotel. Good breakfast with regional products.

Highly recommended!

Cheapest lodging in davos by far for solo travelers... Only 45 CHF per night with the guest card included in this price! I never stay in shared rooms , so this was great , since I had my own private room, even thought the room is very small. The bathrooms are shared but super clean. Bottom line, super recommended for solo travelers on a budget!
