The wine fridge was stocked up and had champagne, prosecco, red and white wine. We didn't have to leave the place to go and buy food which saved us a lot of money! I am pescatarian and he provided salmon and fish fillet! There was veg and non veg food stocked up. He has a lot of seasoning too! It is a 15 min walk from Stalden-Saas station, however if Otto is around he will pick you up or drop you off. We came here as we wanted to do a pre-wed photo shoot. The owner has lots of connections including having a helipad on his property. So we did a Zermatt helicopter tour for 1,000 CHF. I would definitely come back with just me and my partner to relax as we were so busy with out photoshoot.

This chalet-style hotel is located in the centre of Zermatt, within 500 metres of Zermatt Train Station and all cable cars. The Weisshorn’s restaurant serves Swiss cuisine and Valais specialities. Cool structure basically a Swiss chalet of sorts, very helpful staff. Helped me carry my suitcase up and down the stairs. The room was comfortable and had everything needed for a solo traveler.

Hotel Europe is located in the village Zinal, amongst the Swiss Alps and 400 metres from the cable car. Set on 1675 metres above sea level, this hotel offers a hot tub and rooms with a balcony. We stayed for one night during our long multi day hike. Everything was excellent - comfortable room and very helpfull stuff. The resturant was also great.

Situated in the peaceful village of Grimentz amid the Wallis Alps, only 30 metres from the ski pistes and opposite the Grimentz - Zinal Cable Car, the Hotel Alpina features charming mountain-style... Everything was great at Alpina! It was a very cozy hotel at a very reasonable price. Location was perfect and literally right across the street from the gondola and walking distance to the grocery store, ski stores, and other restaurants. Hotel and restaurant staff was wonderful (especially Summer), the spa was amazing, ski room was very convenient, view from the room was beautiful, and the food at the restaurant was very good. Also, no issues with noise - the walls seemed quite thick. The spa was a really great feature (and free!) - we would book the time we wanted to go the night before and it was the perfect way to wind down after skiing (steam room, sauna, hot tub, spa beds). We are very pleased with our experience staying here and will definitely be coming back if we plan to ski again in Switzerland. We have already been telling friends and family to come stay here! Thank you Summer and co. for being a wonderful hosts to us!!
