The host of this place Otto is a very energetic, hospitable and generous person. He tries not just meet your expectations, but exceed them, that’s why we felt like very welcomed guests. Otto picked us up from the train station, drove to supermarket in Visp, and he also offered to drive us to nice cosy restaurant in mountains but we decided not to go and relax in lodge. We had everything - fridge full with food, Lindt chocolates and drinks, 2 big TVs with Netflix, nice terrace, great sound system, comfortable bed and as a present to bring home - bottle of champaign. It was great stay and we hope to return again! Thank you, Otto!

This chalet-style hotel is located in the centre of Zermatt, within 500 metres of Zermatt Train Station and all cable cars. The Weisshorn’s restaurant serves Swiss cuisine and Valais specialities. Location was not dar from the train station, staff is very nice , all things are clean and it was a good experience in zermatt. Breakfast was awesome.

Short walk from hotel to the chair lift, which is free with the bellwald guest card, will take you up to the mountain where you can hike , ride with carts or bikes. There are many hiking and bike trails that starts right from hotel. Apartment is equipped with everything you need. Great view from balcony! When sky is clean in night, this is good place to see the stars. Birgit, the landlady is living upstairs with here family, very lovely and helpful. Highly recommended!

Hotel Europe is located in the village Zinal, amongst the Swiss Alps and 400 metres from the cable car. Set on 1675 metres above sea level, this hotel offers a hot tub and rooms with a balcony. We stayed for one night during our long multi day hike. Everything was excellent - comfortable room and very helpfull stuff. The resturant was also great.

Situated in the peaceful village of Grimentz amid the Wallis Alps, only 30 metres from the ski pistes and opposite the Grimentz - Zinal Cable Car, the Hotel Alpina features charming mountain-style... Unbeatable location if you are a skiier. As close to a ski in/out hotel one can choose. Assuming the snow conditions are good, you can literally ski to the foot/entrance of the hotel where the ski lockers are located. The ski lockers were also warm and well organized with plenty of storage for the gear and quick/easy access to the rooms. Restaurant and the staff were amazing. Parking availability was also appreciated. Though in busy periods you may be parked in and will have to wait a while to get your car out.
