Beautiful little property with lovely gardens. Comfortable room, good breakfast, nice hot shower. Secure parking if you come in a car.
But the best part was the hospitality. Francisco was friendly and welcoming and when we inquired about a ride to Visviri, Francisco said he could take us! (216000 Chilean Pesos) What a beautiful drive. He explained things as we went, pointing out all the flora and fauna. We were quite surprised with how charming Putre was. We highly recommend this lovely hotel and their superior hosts! Thank you for a lovely stay and ride!

Very friendly. The lodge is run by a small family. We had the feeling that they put in alot of passion. The improssion we got was very professional, keeping in mind that Putre is at 3200 meters of altitude. They tried their best to talk to us, even though our spanish was realy poor. The food was realy good! We enjoyed the stay even though we had a cold shower, we are not sure if we should have done something differently to get warm water....we can highly recommend it.

The owner was very kind and helpful. We were given lots of useful information of all the sights we could go visit and where in the village to go for food. Great hospitality, lovely breakfast. We would love to cone back and stay at Terrace Lodge again.

We had an incredible experience at La Chakana lodge. The location is beautiful. The hosts were so wonderful and kind and welcoming. They made us feel so cared for. They were very accommodating with all of our needs. They made wonderful breakfast every day. Easy with extending our stay. We celebrated New Years Eve there and they cooked us a delicious, fine restaurant quality meal and served us in our room with wine. They were so kind and had such amazing hospitality. We are so grateful to them and our stay.
