An American breakfast is available at the lodge. We liked everything, the accommodation, the landscape, the meals and our host, Pablo, was the best host ever. He cooked some amazing food for us and he helped us with everything we needed. The houses are located in a fairy tale place and they check and clean daily the accommodation. We really felt like home and we hope to come back. If we come back in Puerto Guadal for sure, we will stay in the same place. Thank you Pablo, to you and your wife!

There are various trails nearby for hiking and the main rafting start point is just down the road. The food, personnel, and facilities are worth the price.

Surrounded by a lush garden, Mallin Colorado Ecolodge offers wooden cottages overlooking General Carrera Lake. There is a restaurant serving regional and international dishes, and a buffet breakfast is served daily. There is a private beach 2 km away. Tidy, very comfortable and peaceful

Suites at Patagonia Lodge are decorated with tasteful wooden floors and matching autumn décor. All have heating, and some have living rooms and spacious decked balconies. Some rooms have a TV with streaming services. Ruth and her team are doing things right. It starts with the friendly staff (and perky rescue pets) at check-in. The rooms are impeccable. High-quality matress and bedding, beautiful wood materials, very nice bathroom with walk-in shower and excellent water pressure (not always a given in this part of the country). Large picture frame windows offering views of the surrounding scenery. The grounds are well kept with a focus on endemic species of trees and plants. We had dinner at their restaurant. Again, service with a smile and really good food. Breakfast was buffet style, with cooked-to-order eggs, a selection of pastries, meats, cheeses, smoked salmon, fresh baked bread, fruits, juices, etc. etc. We traveled around Chile for about a month, and this was hands down our favorite place.

Fitted with a terrace, the units offer air conditioning and feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. A microwave and kettle are also provided. The view was spectacular! An unobstructed view of the beautiful lake. The shower was heavenly after a day of hard driving. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Between the incredible view from the suite and the quality of the meals (the best I've tasted in Chile so far) everything is done to ensure you have an extraordinary time. WOW!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Ma Pu Lodge is a beautiful place. We woke up to a picture perfect painting of the lake, the trees, and the mountains. One of the two most gorgeous views we have ever had at a lodging.
