The property was well constructed, designed, and the views to four volcanoes were impeccable! We cannot believe that they were able to keep the place so clean and be so attentive WITH a 2 month old. Situated 1.9 km from Sabanilla Beach, Cabañas y hostal Aurora features accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a shared kitchen for your convenience. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. Breakfast was prepared always just before we came down . We were always asked what time we wanted to have breakfast. We stayed over Newyear's eve and New years day. And they arranged for a delicious meals to be brought to the lodge for us during a time many restaurants were closed. Parking was in a gated area and very secure. they have cat and dogs that were very friendly, but were kept outside our entire stay. The owners kept in contact with us prior to arriving. I would go back here anytime!

A children's playground is available on site and canoeing can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. Cute cabin with a wood stove for heating. The wood stove worked very well and wood was restocked in the cabin each day. Beds are super cozy with lots of blankets to keep you warm. Great views of the bay. Enjoyed viewing the birds and the bay upon waking each morning. Great hot water shower without waiting for water to heat up. Need a car to get to this location but it is only a short drive to Castro. Nice and quiet area. Would have stayed here longer had my itinerary allowed.

The staff is super friendly, caring, and have a lot of knowledge onthe surroundings - and the food we had at Peuma lodge (both breakfast and dinner) far exceeded our expectations and was the best food we had on our one month trip in the area
